About Starlink

Starlink is a satellite internet service provided by SpaceX, designed to reach areas that terrestrial broadband infrastructure cannot. Using a constellation of low-Earth orbit satellites, Starlink delivers faster and lower-latency internet than traditional satellite services — typically 50–220 Mbps download with latency of 20–60ms. It's particularly valuable for rural UK addresses where FTTC, FTTP or cable broadband isn't available. The hardware requires a one-off dish purchase, and monthly pricing is higher than equivalent terrestrial broadband, but for very rural customers it's often the only viable fast broadband option.
