About Hyperoptic

Hyperoptic focuses on providing full fibre broadband to apartment complexes and new developments — an underserved market that most mainstream ISPs ignore. They build their own fibre infrastructure into buildings, offering symmetrical speeds (same download and upload) up to 1Gbps. If you live in a Hyperoptic-enabled building, their speeds and pricing are typically excellent. Coverage is limited to specific buildings in major UK cities.

All speed data is sourced from real user tests submitted to BroadbandSpeedTest.uk.com. Speeds shown are median values — not averages — making them resilient to outliers. Minimum 3 tests required for an ISP to appear. Last updated hourly.
